The Orange County Community Foundation Youth Council program is designed to train future leaders to become lifelong philanthropists wherever they may live.

Vision Statement:
• Improving the philanthropic education of all citizens of the county
• Using grants to help better Orange County and its citizens
• Providing leadership assets to better our community one step at a time.

The OCCFYC is open to all Orange County students grades 8 through 12. Applications are available at all county schools and on the OCCF website in the fall. Applicants are interviewed and accepted during the month of August. The Youth Council works to empower the youth of the Orange County community by helping them better understand the philanthropic process through grant making, fundraising and community outreach.

Questions about the Youth Council should be addressed to OCCF Program Associate Destany Pingle at 812-723-4150; or via email at dpingle@orangecountycommunityfoundation.org.
